Celebration Choir is an SATB group that assists in leading the congregation in worship two times a month. Our focus is always on worshipping the Living God first and foremost. This group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:30- 7:40 pm in the choir room. We believe that the four lampstands of our ministry are Foundation, Education, Relation and Celebration. Towards this end, our rehearsals begin with a time of Bible Study together , followed by prayer with and for each other. We continue with rehearsing and worshipping together. Anyone ages 12 and up who wishes to glorify the Lord through song is welcome to join this group. For more information e-mail or speak to Lorinda Allen.

"Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals." The orchestra adds so much to our worship service and is currently playing each week. They rehearse on the third Sunday evening of each month at 6:00pm under the direction of Alison Enman. From beginner, to accomplished musician, to those who have stuffed their instrument in a closet for the past 20 years, anyone with an interest to worship the Lord through their instrument is welcome! Twice a year (typically Easter and Christmas) we offer seasonal productions. The formats of these vary as the Spirit leads us each season. Watch the website or feel free to call the music office for more information about what is currently being offered.

The purpose of the music ministries of Oak Hill Bible Church is to create an atmosphere of joy and inspiration, as hearts prepare to celebrate Christ's life and life in Christ.
A Message from Lorinda Allen, Director of Music
Here at Oak Hill, we recognize the role that music plays in helping us offer back to the Lord our heartfelt worship for all He is and does. Music is not worship in and of itself, worship is a lifestyle lived day in and day out, but it can be a tool to help us express our gratitude and love to Jesus Christ.
If you join us for a Sunday service you will find we use a variety of instruments to help create an atmosphere of joy and inspiration... organ, piano, guitars, keyboard, drums, and even a small orchestra. We know that different people offer their worship in different ways, so to help facilitate this we incorporate both traditional and more contemporary styles into our services.
We would love to have you participate with us ~ either in the congregation or in one of the music ministries!
